As a professional disposable lunch box mold maker, we often give you this suggestion:
Core and cavity steel: Up to customer’s budget and productivity required, we suggest the following steel grade: Pre- harden steel : P20 (1.2311), P20+Ni…etc Harfen Steel : H13 (1.2344) / NAK80…etc. Stainless steel : ASSAB Stavax…etc
Steel of Mold Base：Up to customer’s budget and requirement , we suggest different mold base steel to clients. Normal used material S50C, or P20
Hardness of Cavity & Core：Pre-Hardenss Steel : HRC 30~32+-1* Heat Treatment Steel : HRC 50~52+-1*
Core pulling or Ejection system： Depends on the Products. Commonly used :Motor , oil cylinder, stripping plate, angel pin, ejector pin…etc
Mold Accessories： Compatible to DME/ HASCO Standard.
Cooling System：In Core : Baffle or By pass cooling ；In Cavity Plate: Chain drilling type cooling
Surface Finish: Up to the product’s requirement, Normal used : Texture, EDM machining , Polishing
Mold Life: Up to mold steel grade, under ideal operation condition, 1. Pre-harden steel, min. 20~300000 shots 2. Harden / heat treatment steel : 60~800000 shots. 3. Stainless steel : 1 million shots.

Delivery time: 80~90 days , presenting T1 samples

Total: It is 50 days for first mould testing after mold design is confirmed.
3. Custom Plastic Mould quality control
For the Q/C of mold, there are 3 steps:
1.Mold Material Q/C
- Mold Steel Checking(Hardness, flaw detection)
- Mold Standard Spare Parts Checking(hardness, size, flaw checking)
2.Mold Making Process Q/C
design checking (part design, mold design, mold engineering drawing)
Each part of mold’s size checking after machining according to 2D drawing
mold testing(check mold running condition)
3. check with customer’s requirement again before mold shipping.
4. Custom Plastic Mould pack and shipping
Anti-rust oil is painted first, then Plastic film, and finally Wooden Case.
Sent together with the mold:
a) Mold manual instruction
b) engineering drawing in flash disk
c) one more set of mold spare parts:heater,ejector pin,bush,water nozzle,water pipe,hanging ring.
5. Custom Plastic Mould maintenance
a)When the mold is vacant, spray the anti-rust oil
b)To clean the gate and cooling system regularly
c)Avoid to use recycled material if the mold is suitable for virgin material only
6. Custom Plastic Mould After-Sale Service
a)Engineering and one interpreter can be sent to customer’s factory for first running.
b)one-year after-sale technique support.

Usually our MOQ is 10,000pcs / item.Full container is advised if possible because logistic and material cost will be lower for both of us.
For stocked samples, we can provide them free, you just need to pay freight cost.If new mould is needed, we need to charge mould fees, which will be refund as soon sa your order is up to certain quantity.
We usually send samples by FEDEX, UPS, TNT, DHL,Nice express If you have EXPRESS account, it will be fine to ship samples with your account.If you don't have an EXPRESS account, you can inform us to draft trade assurance order for samples on Alibaba. Then we'll ship samples with our account.
For stocked samples, it takes 1-2 days, they are free.If you want your own designs printed, it takes about 1 week, subject to your design whether they need new mould or new printing screen, etc. Anyway, we'll respond fast to your request.
It takes about 20-25 days for one full container, our large production capacity can ensure fast delivery.
If you want to get goods earlier, we usually deliver by EXPRESS for small quantity, it's fast but much higher in shipping cost.For large quantity, we suggest to deliver by sea, trade terms FOB/CNF/CIF are available.
